Does not matter a bit! I have a 70 minute connection via Paris right now. I'd rather the 2 hour connection in Amsterdam. I'm not seeing a KLM/DL combo that's only a single connection, and neither are the agents.
Definitely not planning a one way award - this is all for the return half of an already booked ticket. Outbound is solid.
Also: thanks for the tip on the 380! My traveling companion has a stronger preference for single connections than I do for flying on a nicer plane, especially on a daytime flight.
I think the agent was able to pull it off after I insisted it was showing available on .com!
