Members of 'the great unwashed' that stop at the end of an escalator (or moving walkway) to figure out where they are. Meanwhile, the escalator is moving with an unending supply of bodies. I have now just walk into them - saying 'excuse me' doesn't seem to register and people behind me just keep coming.
