I'm flying YVR-IAH-FRA on one ticket later in August all on UA. It was a 35 min connection which I understand is the minimum, now the first leg is bumped back by 15 min so the connection is now 20 mi.
It was silly to book a 35 minute connection to int'l in the first place, but that's another story

My change went to a negative connection time
DFW-SFO-SEA-NRT with at least hour and a half changed to flight to SEA leaving almost an hour BEFORE flight in SFO was to land.
One call fixed it, and was able to find R space to preserve Biz seats ^
Strongly suggest, as others have, to drop a dime and find flights with legal connection time - well, not just legal, but one that's actually doable.
