I take my empty refillable water bottle through security. I want ice water during my wait and on the flight. In some airports I can go to any food concession and they will gladly fill my bottle with ice and water. In some airports nobody will give me ice and water. In that case I find a water fountain, but using it requires both hands and means I have to take my hands off my luggage - sometimes it's too risky.

HNL Commuter Terminal: There is a small stand where you can buy sandwiches (I believe it's Quizno's). They also sell bottled drinks, and will give you paper cups upon request. If you want ice, you have to go to the bar and ask for it.
