How full are flights to London on Thanksgiving?
(suggested repost from Western Europe forum) Long time lurker... hoping those who travel much more than I can provide some insight. I'm looking to take a trip to London around the Thanksgiving holiday. It's been almost 10 years since my last visit and previous visits were always in the Jan/Feb time frame (I want to see Christmas decorations!). It was suggested that travelling overseas on Thanksgiving may be a good idea as many people will be with friends and family instead of travelling (especially overseas). Any thoughts?
I was looking to fly business class round trip, however if it's thought the planes won't be very full, I may consider coach (in the hope I can get a row to myself) outbound and business inbound to save some money. I have my notes from 2012 for that time frame so I know what the pricing was like, but I didn't pay attention to how full the flights were ::kicking myself::. Thank you for your insight!
