Had my first incident with other pax today. BOS, AA, PreCheck is just to the left of Priority AAccess line. Needless to say, 5:30 Friday afternoon, lines were long. Priority AAccess was out beyond the snake ropes into the hallway. "Excuse me, sir," I said, trying to squeeze past. He looked at me. "You can wait in line like the rest of us." "Well, actually, sir, I'm supposed to be in a different line and I'm trying to get to it." Guy in front of him got into the act, they worked in concert simply to block me by the way they were standing.
I maneuvered around them and to PreCheck TSA agent, who cleared me. No other pax waiting at PreCheck. Saw the two gentlemen as I was putting my bag on the belt, they were both glaring at me. Oh, well.
Bunch of clueless pax standing in very long PreCheck line at CLT when TSA guy came round asking if everyone was part of the program, and they all studiously ignored him. He told everyone they'd have to go to the back of the other line if they didnt clear and still was ignored. Sure enough, as we got closer to the front TSA was sending these fleas away. Sure wish there was a discernible membership card or something notated on the ticket to avoid these situations.
