Even though the new Wing is in use now, they are still going to close down the hotel for a few weeks to gut out the old Wing. Then, the hotel goes back in operation again with only the new Wing while the old Wing goes through the renovations.

The hotel did this last year by closing down the entire operations for a few weeks to gut out half the hotel.

I guess the owners allowed them to do this and forego a few weeks of revenue each time. Better than to disturb the guests during those few weeks of heavy demolition.
