I think that the OP needs to brush up on the T&C of the HH program. For example, upgrades are not even a stated benefit of the Hampton Inn, Homewood Suites, and Embassy Suites brands. The OP could be setting themselves up for disappointment if they are expecting something that they are not even entitled to.
We do not need to know the specific hotel. Heck, even knowing the brand would allow the rest of us to steer the OP in the right direction.
