I thought you would want to hear back from a quick check on the Mexico City restaurants:
Biko, run by two San Sebastian brothers was phenomenal.

Sadly, I then had to run for my annoyingly timed AA flight, but my friend reports that Pujol was the best meal he'd had in his life, and he's done a good dozen of the top 50.

Quite a hotspot, and at good value.
