Welcome to FT, uniquetraveler! If it really takes 20-25 minutes to walk to the Louvre from the PHV, then I must have been running, something I'm not exactly famous for. Google maps shows it as 16 minutes, but I think it's even less than that.

Alternatively, borrow a bicycle (for free) from the hotel and pedal there in 4 minutes.
