ba.com showing false availability
Hi All
Has anyone else experienced issues with "explore and check availability" giving you incorrect info? I used avios and a 2 4 1 voucher to book flights, but as outbound and return were in diff cabins, I can't amend online. I want to change my WT+ flight to first, and a couple of days back the website was showing 2 available seats. I called and they said there weren't any. Then availability disappeared, but reappeared this morning. Again, I call to change and they tell me there's no availability. Really frustrating, as I'm in Vegas and the calls are costing me a fortune, grrr. Has anyone else had this issue?
I also had problems with false availability showing when I made the original booking, and the ba rep told me it was a computer glitch that she'd get fixed.
I really wanted to fly back in first to ease the pain of my 40th birthday!
