I just got off the phone with the EXP supervisor on duty who tells me that LAX is not a valid North American stopover point on travel from Lima, Peru on Lan. The itinerary I had booked was LIM-LAX (stop) LAX-BOS as one itinerary. I made a change to the return leg today and the agent rebooked my ticket as two separate awards, deducting the additional mileage from my account without any mention to me. I just called to get the additional miles reinstated and the Supervisor told me that the first agent's actions are correct, that LIM-LAX does not permit a stopover and LIM-LAX and LAX-BOS were correctly booked as two separate awards. According to the supervisor, stopovers are only permitted at DFW, MIA, ORD, and MCO. Is this correct?
