Rooms are dated, but the condition was OK. If you want fresh and new, I would say stay elsewhere. I stay at the Marriott as weill in Cardiff, in my opinion they are on par with eachother. The lounge was fine, but they have reduced the time for drinks to a couple of hours. Alcohol is available, 2 kinds of beer, some wine and hard liquor. Breakfast was in in the lounge, or an upcharge for the restaraunt. Ive done both just to compare, downstairs has everything. Lounge is fine for a quick bite.

If the price is right, this is a good property for me, but unimpressive due to age.
