There is no transfer between BA and IB through IAG. If anything, service and amenities on BA should be getting better as it is performing extremely well financially at the moment iirc.
Also I'd hope if cost savings needed to be made in the lounges to cover IB's losses they'd come from the IB side.
IB contracts Melia (a major Spanish hotel chain) to run the lounge operation, when their contract is up for renewal they could give the contract to McDonald's or something
I quite like the IB lounges and hope that they keep the contract with Melia (reports from the lounges when service was in-house were terrible), but in the end if BA is performing well, IAG shouldn't think of killing their cash cow by contaminating the BA brand.
So, if IB lounges were run by McDonald's, would they do a better job than BaxterStorey?
