So the VA product is going to be the shorthaul product. Unless it was super cheap I would fly JQ Starclass or Garuda. Garuda would have the best product out of all 3. While I think the DJ product is fine for short haul I really like a foot/ legrest for anything more than a few hours. When the VA J cabin was new the service was excellent, the crew were excited and keen to impress. Now that J is part of the furniture the crew can be hit or miss. The hit or miss really also comes down to if the crew enforce the rope and prevent Y pax from coming forward to use the J bathroom. If they keep Y out of J then life is good and even a full cabin never feels crowded. If not then J becomes more like Y did I bother?
