I've taken DL 151 3 times now (as well as DL 150 twice, but not on the same day as 151).
My experience is that it takes a minimum of 30-45 min to clear immigration/customs in each direction.
Most flights from the US get in around 10-11PM (and leave ~11PM-1AM) so the customs lines can be really long for both entry and exit. Last night it was an hour from arrival at gate to exiting the airport, and only about 5-10 min of that included retrieving a checked bag and exiting the customs line.
No idea if you would have to re-check in to get a boarding pass, but if so, you may be in trouble there as I am not sure if they'd let you check in with less than an hour before the flight. I usually check in at least 2 hours before as it takes up to a full hour to get through to the gate from the check in counter.
If you miss DL150, you could try to transit AM through MEX (there's a 1AM flight LIM-MEX), but I did that last week and don't really recommend it highly.
