This one is far worse (ETA - and I've had it. There was a bit of ...?. It's served on flights where there is no meal choice.)

On the whole UA's meals in F exceed AS's on virtually every flight length

My last EWR-SEA on UA had:
Warm nuts with drink service
Shrimp appetizer
Full salad
Tender, good-sized steak with mashed potatoes, carrots and broccoli
Ice cream sundaes with choice of toppings

On shorter flights UA often has:
Soup
Salad
Entree
Baked Cookie

While UA's food is less than it once was, AS has come down a lot further

In fairness, the rice "risotto" dish is probably AS's worst, and there are some more tasty ones. However food quantity is definitely small.
