I was going to add FTI.com, but it is a German only site, and we are an English speaking group of LNFers, by and large. So, since it is German only, I did not add it.

I think you got it. With same versus same, I was talking about Marriott claims (not about SPG, that was a completely different website and obviously also different hotel).
Having my friend's case to be inspected by a LNF supervisor did not work. The Marriott BRG team did not answer anymore.
Did you actually call the LNF office and pitch a fit, or did you just leave it to e-mails back and forth?
