I've been platinum and beyond on Delta many times in the past however over the last couple of years my travel has been limited to driving to my project(s). However I will soon be back in the skies each week. The problem is I no longer have any status.

Does anyone know of a way to get status based on "promised" future travel? I work for a very large consulting firm and we partner with all of the airlines and would hope they would accomodate. Has anyone ever heard of this practice?
