Return cancelled
So yesterday I had a major taxi problem from the incompetent Manchester Cars, and arrived at Manchester airport at 09:55.
At 09:58 I picked up my belongings from security as my name (and that of 3 others) was bonged out over the tannoy. At 09:59 my boarding pass was scanned, rejected with a "see note" sign, and I was allowed to board. At 10:00 I sat down in 1C.
At Heathrow I picked my onward boarding pass up (Phone wouldn't load it for some reason). No problem boarding here (and they even took fast track through both counters, leaving the masses waiting! ^)
At 12:40 we left heathrow.
The day later the tier points for both sectors posted.
Tuesday morning I get a call from my TA that BA had cancelled my ticket as I was a no-show!
My ticket was fully flexible in any case, and I'm staying behind for work reasons. I'm now booked on a return tomorrow lunchtime under a new PNR.
Anyone else had such an issue? I'm hanging on to my boarding passes just in case I get my tier points removed. 680 to get in the next 3 months to hit GGL year 1, and every point counts.
