A slightly odd one here from my brother in law...

Booked on flight to AGP return next week - and he now wants to go to the football on Monday at Wembley.

This means he would not take the flight out - I understand this would mean his return is cancelled... However, his wife and son (infant) are on the same booking and would make the flight - with him them joining them the following day.

What would BA do in this instance - in an ideal world, he would like to keep the return leg of his flight so as to come back with him family, but make another booking for the flight out - he would not expect any refund for the flight out (it is a cash booking, which has change terms £60 per change).
