If you are on one ticket you shouldn't have any problems with the bags being checked through to your destination.
KK, Im booking BR since it is significantly cheaper than NH in Y, currently i am booked under M fare, but I will probably upgrade to Premium Laurel since my mileage is expiring soon anyways...
Also, the connection time in HKG is quite tight (approx 1 hr)... If the AC flight comes in late, would the CX crew be alerted? Or does the system not tell CX that im connecting? SHould I call CX and tell them to add the note on cuz when i checked my cx MMB, it doesn't list the AC flights, but does for the BR flights..... Also, i Can check through AC and CX under 2 different PNRs? (Im not worried about BR and AC since BR is joining *A anyways.
