My girlfriend has been travelling between Belgium and Austria using Eurolines. On each trip, in Germany police has entered the bus (on one trip even two times) and controlled passports. I think I can say these are systematic controls which are not allowed with the Schengen agreement. Anyone can suggest what to say when this check happens again?
"Here is my passport." And then hand it to them.
How does this violate Schengen? They were probably looking for criminals, not trying to control how many people were entering their country. It's not as though they were stamping people's passports, were they?
