Quick, very possibly dumb question. If I purchase a BOS->DUB award ticket with Avios (unfortunately in Business, it looks like, until this availability issue resolves itself), and I want to fly onward to NCE on the outbound leg and from CDG on the return leg on EI with a cash ticket, is it likely that I would be able to combine the two tickets for the purposes of checking through my luggage and avoiding a possible stranding if the first flight in each trip is delayed/cancelled?
