I did eventually drive my Jeep west. But I must say I considered it parting it down into parcels <70lbs!

Amazingly, the only thing that I recall which broke was a CD changer -- I got lazy with the packing on that trip. Funny, I haven't really missed it!

I would usually get questioned as to what was in the boxes by the counter agents. I was always perfectly honest -- sometimes, the answer was clothes. Sometimes it was books. But eventually it became time to pack my pantry, at which point the answer was...... SOUP. The agent looked at me funny, but eventually just put the HEAVY tag on the box, and that was that.

Loading the car in COS used to be a breeze -- they would let you (or at least not stop you!) drive up to the side door of the baggage claim area. It was sort of an employee area I think, but there weren't any signs or gates saying you couldn't park there for 10 mins. It was like 50 feet from the belt to the car!
