I had to cut short a 3 night award stay at the HHV after the first night due to a serious injury while out sightseeing in Oahu (resulted in an early flight home that day as well). I called the Diamond Desk once back on the mainland and they patched in one of the HHV's managers back in Honolulu on a conference call with me. I explained what happened and my remaining two nights worth of points were redeposited within 24 hours.
