Why are fares from the U.S. to BKK so high now?
Mods,
I hope I posted this is the right place.

Why are prices from the US XXX-BKK so expensive right now? I have travelled there four times in past year (quarterly) and ticket prices today are 33%-45% higher than they were during even high season travel?

I am using Google Flights, ITA Matrix, Kayak.

I prefer DL/SkyTeam.
