There are also other airlines on the Australia London route. It's quite competitive. Booking a roundtrip BNE LHR could bring those prices down. Honestly for those prices you can buy US air miles for less

I like Malaysian, but don't know what they're flying to Australia.

Edit: us miles are about the same price, but are only a little bit more for business
