I booked a reward ticket using United Airlines miles and am flying on airlines including, Lufthansa, Thai, Singapore and Egyptair. The ticket was paid for entirely by miles, but about $120 was paid in taxes on a credit card. I have been reading horror stories about lost credit cards causing the need for tickets to be rebooked. In this situation, if somehow a credit card gets misplaced, would that effect us boarding an award flight?
