After eating, I asked the FA whether I could go see the F cabin. She was fine with that so off I went with my camera.
I have to admit I was somewhat disappointed and I can see what they mean about phasing out F. IFE screens were about half the size of those in J and the seat controls had no massage function or bed mode buttons (as opposed to J)
Nevertheless, the seats are roomy and I could take a few snapshots:
Legroom shot (pitch was 1 inch more than J on the 77L!)
I returned to my seat for some well deserved sleep and a quick pose:
I won’t go into too much detail about India, so about a week later, it was time to start our journey back home. As with the outbound journey, I did not bother with OLCI, as I did select my Y seat and I knew the probability of this changing was pretty good. True to that, our upgrade came through for DEL-DOH. We had to wait until we got to DOH for news on the last upgrade, but we were told that there was only 7 J seats left and there was 6 of us, so I did not get my hopes up. They handed us our Y BPs for DOH-JNB in the mean time
DEL thankfully had priority passport and security checkpoints for J and F pax. I have to admit I found the security at DEL obtuse and blatantly rude. To make matters worse, they ruined my BP with useless stamps:
Anyway, I got over myself and went to the QR lounge at DEL (also shared with Priority Pass holders) and just sat down with a honey brandy when the staff member who let me in came over to me saying she made a mistake and seeing that I was on an upgraded ticket, I did not have access. I just decided not to kick up a fuss and politely left, although I felt like a thief who tried to sneak in and was now thrown out, although this was not the case.
Boarding started about 50 minutes prior to departure and thankfully J pax had their own dedicated check-in with air bridge to the front of the plane.
Today’s 332 had no F config. J was 100% full and Y about 90% again.

I had the bulkhead and I took some pictures of the mood lighting, as I forgot to do this on the other flights:
View of the galley:
We were served breakfast but I did not take any photos. The omelette was sub standard anyway.
