I am wondering if it is still possible to get miles and use a flight on a rtw trip. I am looking at adding a flight from LHR to DXB. I could use the BA flight but QF has a codeshare flight with UAE on an Airbus 380. I thought it would be fun the fly that in business, but I am wondering before I go through hoops if I can still get miles on a flight like this.
My assumption is that because it is a Qantas flight number it should be ok but I've learned to never assume with these kinds of things.
