The "airport" Hilton is not really at the Airport. It really stretches the definition of airport hotel IMHO and while nice-ish (or it was a few years ago), I wouldn't go out of my way to choose it.

Personally, I'd stay at the HI Express, or Crowne Plaza if you have PC status and the on site Clarion (not one I'd like) or BLU (so-so) don't take your fancy. There are other budget options with shuttles too such as the Premier Inn (HI Express level quality) and Bewley's which work well too for a simple stop over.
