You never have to go through security twice at YYZ (ignoring special circumstances such as TLV flights) regardless of what connection you take. Itīs quite possible one could end up with two security checks somehow (though I donīt know how to be honest), but itīs definitely not a requirement.
And yes, I stand by my opinion that YYZ is much preferable to the vast majority of US airports. Guess weīll have to agree to disagree...
