That's my experience as well - we have ua as preferred carrier with supposedly discounted pricing and I still see cheaper fares on other carriers...
+2 same here. Corporate contract with pref in our booking system alongside DL and AA. On our man city pairs very competitive but typically elsewhere higher. I wonder if its partially that UA seems have the rev model set up so they are pushing higher fares earlier than others are, eg at 7 days out they are competitive but inside of 5 DL and AA come in lower. A limited sample no doubt, but it always strikes me.
