Kiosk upgrades are 45 dollars per 500 mile segment. They are only to be offered once elites are accommodated. They are thus rare on most routes.

If by paid you mean laying the difference between a coach fare and a first fare then I don't think this is offered at the kiosk though I know something along these lines has been added to aa.com. Offered me to confirm an upgrade to F for one phl-ord on an already expensive ticket.
