Would be grateful for any high TP earning but not too expensive Oneworld routings on LHR-LAX-MEL-LHR / CDG in J

I need to do this a couple of times this year (July and August) and will have time on my hands (for once) and will be quite happy to stop over in NYC or HKG etc.

Presumably an ex-EU to LAX via JFK and then AA? Followed by a return with RJ via HKG and AMM or something?

Or MH via KUL?

Or Finnair via BKK?

I guess the expensive bit would be a one-way from LAX to SYD or MEL which never appear to be discounted (based on my experiences last year where I had to pay thousands for tickets on this route with QF!)
