Due to this, we had to take time out of our only day in IST to shop for a change of clothes, so we (there were 2 *A Gold members flying this itinerary, each with 1 bag delayed) could not wear the same clothing for more than 72 hours, and be presentable for a business meeting the next day. The LX luggage agent that handles delays at IST handed us a paper that said claims could be made from our home country, on the Swiss web site. I have checked multiple times, and there is no such place to claim costs for replacement essentials. What is the proper address to send in the receipts?
Dear Reid
First of all, I'm sorry for the troubles with your bags.
If you click on the "Contacts" link on the SWISS.com page for your country, there will be a pop-up window with different choices. On the far right, under the point "post-flight feedback", there is an option for "missing baggage". This will lead you to an information page which contains the correct address for your country.
I hope that helps.
Kind regards,
Gianrico
