Not too long ago we were in Paid F on HNL-LAX.. Asked on C/I for HNL-SFO-LAX as SFO had the intl J seats. Agents could care less and didn't help.. Well LAX was delayed.. Was able to rebook for the next day HNL-SFO-LAX. Got an extra day in HNL no complaints.. Were also offered several island routings too.. Just came back from Maui so skipped that.. Nonetheless could have got a full free day on any island
