HKG-SIN mr question
You can stay airside overnight. Pick up UA boarding passes at the transfer desk around 5am, maybe a bit earlier. UA transfer desk was near gates B1-4 in T3 last summer, not sure now.

Re bags, SQ may do it for you if you show the United ticket. Can't tell you definitively though
