anybody notice US Airways ticket prices going up by as much as 50% on many routes? actually, it's not the prices going up, but the total lack of cheaper fares. On the route that I fly most often, which connects in CLT, I used to be able to buy tickets for appx $130 each way for the last couple of years. I just checked all the dates starting from tomorrow until the beginning of December and the cheapest fares are all $200 or above each way. That's effectively an increase of more than 50%. Probably doesn't help that US Airways is the only carrier on the route.
