The change can't come too soon in my opinion. Yesterday's LHR-CAI A321 CW was an almost carbon-copy of my first such flight (four months ago on 8 January - BA doesn't appear to have learned any lessons in the interim), with delayed boarding and pre-flight drinks service due to hand baggage stowage issues.
You should have seen BA149 LHR-BEY on 1 May - 40 minutes to board, people taking their time, going up and down the aisle on boarding, massive bags, decided to put them in the hold at the last minute...
