When there is a shortage of cars, the list might also include some specialty cars or convertibles. At LAX, there might be a larger selection, considering the size of the market and the diversity of tourists visiting there.
PS. It just so happens that I am going to LAX on Thursday, and although my car is being delivered to my hotel, when I return the following week, I will try to appraise the selection if I have the time (meaning if I am not running late for my takeoff time).
Thanks for your answer. Would it be an idea to call Avis at LAX 2 days before we arrive there, if we'd like to try an American car? Since we are from Europe, and have tried the BMW 3- and 5-series car + the volvo cars you said aswell, Id rather try prefe some American car, instead of a Europe car

Id really like to try have a Cadillac, or the Infinity G/M37
