Just an example: If you transfer your own MR reward points to a frequent flyer programme many of them allow you to book award tickets not only for yourself but for relatives or anyone.

So the way of using your points for your wife's travel would be: Transfer the points to your own FF account and then book the tickets for her. @:-)

So need of the primary cardholder would be necessary (despite the fact that this is also not possible).
