Had the very same difficulty this past weekend, RTM-LHR. Called BA customer service number, and the agent on the phone could not explain why, so she transferred me to web services, who also could not explain why, and said to just go to the airport.


(interestingly, had originally booked an exit row seat, yet when i looked at my booking day before departure, seat had been changed, and day of departure, seat changed again).
