I also read somewhere that you can exchange your premium miles to status miles with a ratio of 5:1, but dont know if this is still available.
I have TK elite now, so its no problem to get lounge access and additonal luggage for any star alliance flight, even before I get the necessary 25000 miles for requalification.
I already booked almost all flights I need this year with non star alliance carriers, so this TK flight from WAW to KUL would be the only way to get A3 gold or the TK requalification. Can only get once.
