Yes, I understand that. How about the calculated miles for WAW IST KUL and return, will it be 24254 or a little more because the minimum miles count double and not the real flown miles? So 24254 or 24824? In both cases I could earn the necessary miles with a economy one way flight from KUL to BKK on ET for just ~ $100.

Also only 3000 miles left for my A3 gold status now, so I have to decide if I use this flight to get that or to requalify for TK elite. But it feels like TK elite is more reliable and useful than A3.
