The big issue is after choosing flights that might work schedule wise and choosing "First", I'm constantly given a choice of flights to Miami via different cities in coach. And the Miami-Curacao leg is in coach.
I could live with that but it seems to fly two out of 3 legs in coach after paying for a first mileage award kinda sucks.
I've found by doing a multi-city award, I can leave the day before, fly SEA/JFK/MIA, overnight and leave in the morning for Curacao. Those flights are in first except the MIA/CUR leg.
So, my question is, since this itinerary is available as an award, is it possible to get a one way? Is there a way to force that schedule somehow?
Is it pricing with the one-way amount or is it charging you for 2 awards? If the latter, then I'm guessing that either JFK isn't allowed in the routing to Curacao, or the layover in JFK is more than 4 hours, which wouldn't necessarily be allowed in addition to the MIA overnight.
If you PM me the specific flights and dates you found I can look into it.
