Just booked a r/t LAX-JFK for a MR in Oct with a friend. EC is wide open (for now), so I chose the bulkhead middle row aisle seat. Friend is FO on separate PNR, so I called to see if I could get her EC opposite aisle with middle seat empty (again, for now). Didn't think it was possible, but they did it for free! She was going to have to pay $100 upgrade for this, so very happy!
