Worst case scenario, Border Agency denies me to enter the UK landside. Am stuck with a 20 Plus hour layover within terminal with no real hotels to sleep? or Can there be other consequences? I am really trying to understand the worst case scenario that can happen between all this and is it worth saving $400 or so (which is the next price to avoid London or get same day connection or go to another city in States).
