If i am able to get the ticket, does that mean i still don't know if i will be able to board the flight till the date of departure.

Please note that this concession is operated at the UK Border Agency's discretion. Our officers may therefore prevent you from using the concession. If you are unsure whether you meet the concession's criteria, you should get a visa before you travel.
I guess the decision making goes with the same thought process as used at the time of issuing the visa. If that is the case, i should be able to get the visa considering i have had a UK visa in the past, recently traveled europe for vacation and multiple business trips to US? not to mention small countries like hong kong, macau i travelled to?

Its just that this is the cheapest option i can find that meets the criteria of traveling only on weekends. Everything else is at least $300 more than this option.
